Obituary of Carolyn Marie Burley
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Caroline Marie Burley announces her passing which occurred on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia May 25th, 1948, she was a daughter to the late Harold and Eileen (Clinton) Gracie.
Caroline leaves behind her loving husband Earl Burley; sons Dwayne (Norma) and Colin (Natalie); grandchildren Ryan, Samantha, Arthas, Gemma, and Calliope; sisters, Annette (Jim) Cameron, Dianne (Gerard) White, Frances Chase, Mary (Alain) Caillouette, Tina (Micheal) King, and Shirly (Greg) Deveaux; brothers Wayne Gracie, Dale Carr, Martin (Theresa) Gracie, Blair (Wanda) Gracie, and Jimmie (Donna) Gracie; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Caroline was predeceased by her brothers Johnny (Chrissie) Gracie, Euin Gracie, and Tommy Gracie; sister Lorraine Boutilier; and sister in-law Gloria Gracie.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). In keeping with the families wishes, there will be no visitation, and private family service will be held at a later date.
