Obituary of Dave/Beaver McKiel

With great sadness, we announce the passing of John David “Beaver” “Dave” McKiel, on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born December 12, 1952, in Saint John, he was raised by his loving grandparents.

Dave is survived by his caregiver, Shirley Robinson, her son Cory Robinson (Katie Davis) and his sons, Landon and Hunter Robinson; his good friend, Midday Bosidi; long-time friend, Rick Northrup; special friend, Lillian Moulton; his aunt, Doris Rogers; several nieces and nephews, and all of the friends he played Crib with.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A short graveside service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022, at 10 am in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit.
