To Allan’s family I feel much sadness about Allan’s passing, I hired him when I was the Manager at the MET at Parkway Mall, I still remember him applying for the job, I am quite sure it might have been his first but he worked hard, showed respect to everyone and I could count on him to do a good job. He made us all laugh and nobody could move as fast as Allan, he could make about 3 leaps from the front to the back of the store when he was paged. I am glad to hear he went on to have an even more successful career at Canadian Tire, he would message me on occasion and made me feel good that he was doing well in life. I have had hundreds of people work for me over the years but Allan stood out as one who gave it his all, Rest In Peace my friend.

To Allan's family...I am truly saddened to see this. I had the pleasure of working with Allan during his time at The Met. We had such fun working together. He was always good for a laugh and I loved his sense of humor. Even on the rare occasion he was mad...he could still have me in stitches. Boy...what a worker he was, he never stopped. It was always around this time of year I would run into him Christmas shopping. We would start our conversation with a big hug...get caught up ... and then end it the same way. Definitely one of the nicest, kindest person I have ever known. My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to all those who loved him. He was a GREAT guy. "Big AL"... Soar high with the angels, my friend. I will miss my hugs.

My name is Linda O' Brien and he use to call me, "Linda Lou"...which I loved. I first Allan when I worked with him at Canadian Tire, about 15 years ago. He had a great sense of humor and could take.... and give...a joke which a few of us played on each other. Rest in Peace, Dear Friend.
