Very sad news. My sincere, heartfelt sympathy and condolences to his family.
"Went out walkin' through the wood the other day
And the world was a carpet laid before me
The buds were bursting and the air smelled sweet and strange
It seemed about a hundred years ago."
--- Jagger/Richards
Rest In Peace Dan. See ya in 'the cubby-hole'.

Mr Danny.
I don’t know how I went from you need to get good before you get better to being the best.
But your tattooed mama will miss you dearly.
I hope your grandbaby cherishes that teddy bear for years and years and years to come.
You were so loved.
You’re free my friend.
My deepest condolences to your family. I know just how much your Dad/Grampy loved each and every one of you.
Next time I’m at Walmart I’m still gonna be picking up a pack of the dollar shave club razors. But instead of giving them to you for Christmas. I’m going to use them myself.
Because I buy them too. And they really are the very best razors, they’ll be purchased in your honour my friend.
Love you, miss you.
Your Friend
Linsy.

To Michael and all of Danny's family.
Our condolences to you.
Danny was a great friend. Although he faced so many obstacles through out his life, he always kept his head up and fought through them. He loved a good laugh, no matter how bad things were. He was the #1 fan of the Woody's Garage band at Friday night darts. I can still hear his voice requesting his favorite Stones tune every week. He would yell "Paint it Black, you Devil".
He had several phrases that he used frequently.
One of his favorites he would say when he was having a hard time getting up or walking was "Weebles Wabble but they Don't Fall Down". Another one he used frequently and is suitable at this time was, "Fade in/Fade out"

We moved up the street from Danny and his family back in ‘89/90. I was 8 years old. He was such a wonderful guy. Always so welcoming, and had an amazing smile. I remember how his beautiful blue eyes would light up when he smiled. His children were the light of his life. Even after Danny’s diagnosis, he just kept on trucking. He always had such an amazing heart. My mother had moved away before my graduation. She was unable to make it, which broke all of our hearts. But Danny went out of his way to attend so I would feel down. That was Danny! So full of love. He will be dearly missed. To Sheri and Michael, my deepest condolences! He truly was one in a million!

To the Howlett Family: I only got to know Danny in person this past summer as he was sitting outside in his wheelchair on the side of the Carleton Kirk and I asked him if he was Danny thumbs up than I told him who I was as he would have his aunt Joyce get him things and my partner and I would deliver them for him especially His Nurses on his unit.. than I walked over and he had mentioned it was too much noise so I went to my partner s car and brought over a set of ear phones that he could over his head to take away some of the noise than my partner came around the corner and they shook hands and gave another thumbs up.. "You held many hands over the years Danny but it was time to let go so now they have to hold onto your memory in their hearts..". Rest Easy Danny as you join those who went before you.. J.J. your aunt Joyce friend
