Obituary of Louise Isabel MacCollum
It is with great sadness that the family of Louise Isabel (Baxter) MacCollum announce her passing, which occurred at her residence in Shannex Tucker Hall, on Saturday, December 10, 2022. Born in Saint John on October 8, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Sophia (Moore) Baxter, and wife of the late Ronald Scott MacCollum.
Louise is survived by her sons, Scott MacCollum (Jane) of Willow Grove and Randy MacCollum (Patricia) of Bouctouche; her daughter, Lisa Shepherd (Steven) of Bedford, NS; brother, Winston Baxter (Hanna Lori) of Prince George, BC; her granddaughter, Samantha MacCollum; and step-grandchildren, Graham Shepherd and Sandra Shepherd; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Louise was predeceased by her sisters, Barbara Baxter and Phyllis Walker; and her brothers: Robert, Nelson, Harry, John, and Hollis Baxter; and grandson, Michael.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A graveside service will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 11 am.
