Obituary of Louis Andre Nantel
In loving memory of Louis Andre Nantel who passed away peacefully in his sleep December 17 2022. Louis was born on October 23, 1957 in Deschenes PQ and resided most of his life in Saint John NB.
He was the son of Louis Joffre Nantel (deceased) and Hazel Blanche Garnett (deceased) and brother of Yvonne Hamilton (Deceased), (Husband – Gary Hamilton, Son – Stephen Connolly, Daughters – Donna Connolly, Tammy Sousa Husband – Joe, Sons – Micheal and Aarron) also William Nantel (Wife – Maria, Son Jonathan) and Ann Jefferys (Husband – Gary, Son – Stephen). He is survived by his two daughters Jaime Ross (Husband – David Ross) (Grandchildren – Siearrah, Bryhson and Tayah) and Nicole Nantel (Common Law Husband - Larry Myers, Grandchildren – Nalani and Khylan) who all reside in Kitchener Ontario.
Most of his working career was in the Trucking industry loving the open road and a big 18 wheeler.
His leisure time was either enjoying fresh air and solitude with fishing pole in hand or watching movies and favorite TV programs.
Louie’s life was centered on his love of family involving his daughters, grandchildren.
He had a huge heart and welcomed those he loved deeply with a huge hug that he would only let go when the person was ready to let go. He indeed had a great capacity to love. His devotion to his family was what he lived for. He was a very strong and compassionate man and always had a listening ear. He will be sadly missed. Truck on in the Heavenly worlds.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM from Brenan's Chapel. Donations in memory of Louis may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
