Dear Pat & Family,
We were sorry we could not attend Lou's funeral Mass this morning, however, we watched the live stream and were deeply touched by such a beautiful service to celebrate the life of a fine gentleman and kind man. The Mass, music, readers, and Deanna's prayerful intentions and beautiful memories shared by family were just inspiring. We send our love and will keep you in our hearts and prayers..
love,
Theresa & Jim

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Lou was one of those people you meet once and remember for a lifetime. I had the privilege of serving with General Cuppens and years later reconnecting with him here in New Brunswick. President Reagan said it best when he said " Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they ever made a difference. A veteran does not have that problem." Lou made a difference in my life and the lives of so many others. May his memory be a blessing and bring comfort to all of you. "Stalk and Strike".

When I first met Lou, he was retired from the military but still attending defence conferences and trade shows. We had a nice chat, and I started to look for him at other events. The second time we met, he called me Cathy or something, and he was terribly embarrassed when I corrected him. Ever since then, he always greeted me with a bubbly "Hello Chris!!" Lou was always smiling, such a genuine and happy person, and I always enjoyed our all-too infrequent chats. In retirement, his mission became support for military veterans and he wrote quite a few OpEds that I happily published in FrontLine Magazine. I was very sad to hear of Lou's passing. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Dear Anna and Dave; Dale and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. It seems like only yesterday we were in High School, getting married, working and raising our children. I didn't know Lou well but my dad often spoke of him as being a wonderful person. I will be praying for all of you on May 29th.

I too met Louis at scouts at St. Pius X Church and we forged a friendship for many years after. He would bring friends into the city market and I would explain about lobsters with them. Louis and I wrote many letters to the editor of our paper. We also went to the most popular dance in Saint John - St. Pius X . As good catholic boys that we were, we both were altar boys back then. I will miss his smile his letters and most of all his warm persona. May God bless your family with strength at this time of your life. I miss you also Anna. Terry Parker

I just wanted to send my condolences to Lou's family. I first met Lou way back in the days of Cubs and Scouts at St. Pius. He had an amazing career and I was fortunate to have a "catch up" chat with him a few years ago just after he retired.
