I know Natalie is rejoicing on the golden streets, enjoying the real golden years with her beloved Saviour. I always enjoyed my visits with her - she was such an encouragement. When I heard of her death I called John thinking he might still be in St. Martins but I had no idea she had died without my hearing about it over a week ago. She will certainly be missed.

I am very sorry for your loss. I remember your mom and dad came into Tim’s after your dads appointments and they were a lovely couple and a real treat to sit and chat with and later I started to work for Joan’s at the Château, as soon as Natalie saw me there, her warm welcome and embrace after not seeing each other for years reflected the tremendous person she truly was!

John and all Natalie's loved ones:
Sincere condolences and wishes that you are comforted by happy memories of the most extraordinary Natalie. Your mum and my dad never forgot the fun and adventures of the Mount Pleasant "gang" and always remained proud of their city, Saint John. Natalie gleefully recounted the joys of skating, sledding, and skiing at Lily Lake with Harry, Joan, and Bobby and loving being included in all the activities at "55" with the McInerney family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Please accept our sincere condolences. My husband and I had the good fortune to be the ones to purchase the Noseworthy family home on Mount Pleasant Avenue nearly 16 years ago. We did not purchase only a house, but a home filled with history and love. We were lucky enough to have Natalie visit us and tell us stories about the house and her favorite spots to play as a child (that basement rock was fun to climb and the closet under the stairs was perfect for puppet shows as she recounted to us.) We have come to appreciate the views from all of the windows; she told us how much she loved all of those views and how one of her sons took photos of each view for her before she moved. We live among her memories still today and share the history with others often. Natalie told us how much joy it brought her to know that a young family would carry on in her home and we sometimes spotted her driving by to check on us. It was wonderful to know her.

Dear John and Pat,
Natalie will always be my inspiration to live a long time and never seem old. Not so long ago at our very long lunch we talked books, favourite authors, the state of the Christian church, her deep faith (which I envied), and even recited a William Wordsworth poem which we had both memorized in grade school. Time spent with Natalie was a great gift. Natalie had such a generous heart, a bright and curious mind, a wonderful sense of humour and a very theatrical way of telling her stories. All of this to say I loved Natalie and send my deepest sympathy to you and all the family and friends who loved her too. Bev Bate

My father died when I was 11. The Rev. Don Noseworthy became a surrogate dad and Mrs. (Natalie) Noseworthy a second Mom. I spent many wonderful times with them, Jane and, of course, my great friend since childhood, John. Towards the end of her life, I was honored to receive many phone calls from Natalie regarding an issue at the Massachusetts parish where Don and Jane were buried. That I could be of some comfort and help to this remarkable woman will always be something I will cherish. She gave so much to everyone, including a driveway for my wife and I (and our camper) on our honeymoon. Bless you Natalie and say "hi" to Don and Jane from me.

Sincere condolences to the Noseworthy family. Nathalie was a cheerful, fun loving person and I am so glad that we reconnected over the past years. She was a cousin of my mother Marie Beatteay and they enjoyed each others company immensely. On my last visit with Nathalie I brought her a photo album with pictures of Mum going back to when she was a baby and Nathalie was thrilled. She was one of a kind as was her husband Don and I feel very lucky to have known them both in my life. I only wish I didn't live so far away so I could have seen them more often
Very best regards

Natalie was such a beautiful lady ... funny ... talented and brought warmth to the soul every time we could get her to play the piano at the Chateau ... Thanks to the Noseworthy family for giving us the opportunity to know and love Natalie and Miss Maggy.
John- Pat - Jamie and family our prayers are with you all and I'll miss her smile and her "I'm not complaining I'm just explaining" mindset

Natalie was a unique lady that beat to her own drum and that relied on her Savior to bring her through life's challenges. I met Natalie when Bill and I moved to Saint John. I always looked forward to my time with her. I treasured our meals at her favorite restaurant "The Reversing Falls" . She always saw the best in everything and had such a sense of humor.
Sympathies and prayers to Peter and Pat, and all the grandchildren.

How Natalie will be missed. She left a lifelong impression on me and I will NEVER forget her. I loved her dearly. I first met Natalie in 2008 when I joined the "Animal Rescue League" and now the SPCA where I served until 2017. We had many great times together and she accompanied me on the annual Cupid for a Cause fundraiser that the shelter used do delivering gift baskets on Valentines Day with the dogs. She was absolutely delighted when we delivered one basket to her grandson Jamie's office that snowy day in February. He was so surprised to see her. She always had a glint in her eye. We had great adventures and we loved having her at our home where she could cuddle our cats and dogs. One of her favourite memories that she would recount was her comment made to a well-known Reverend Lloyd Lake. She said, "If there are no pets in heaven, I won't go." He chuckled and responded, "Well of course there are Natalie, HE wouldn't have it any other way." How she loved that story.
We had many wonderful visits together and you would not have met a kinder soul. I would take her out for drives and she would come out and visit with us and all of our "critters." How she loved animals. How we loved her vibrance, faith, her sense of humour and her knowledge. I was lucky enough to be with her when she adopted her last beloved kitty cat and we picked her out together. She called her "Maggie (2) Jane" who all of the staff knew at the Chateau. Natalie will never be forgotten. xo Melody and Ron McElman.
My favourite quote for Natalie: (John Grogan):
“Animal lovers are a special breed of humans, generous of spirit, full of strength, perhaps a little prone to sentimentality, and with hearts as big as a cloudless sky.”

To Natalie's dear family. I reflect today on one wonderful woman, who's life many could only half live. Natalie found joy in each day and would always have a quote or something from the Bible to share. My memories go back to Mount Pleasant days, when I was a child, and my grandparents and her Mom knew each other. Nat was a dear friend of many, but especially to our mother Ruth Greene and Sylvia Davidson. After Mom died, Natalie and I remained very close, having lunches out or gatherings at my home. Natalie and I shared our greatest pain, many stories, and laughs over all her kind and wonderful stories. God did give her a great sense of humor that brought many tears of laughter. To have such a great memory was truly a gift. I know how much all of her family will miss her and I will miss our chats. The humble shepherds, heard the voice of an angel, and found their Lamb.

Natalie was the first person to welcome me to Canada when I arrived here in 1989. She brought over delicious food, and many times shared her recipes; I still have her cranberry walnut bread recipe on the card in her own handwriting.
She, Don and "Simon" lived directly opposite me in the house on Mount Pleasant and she always had a warm reception for me anytime.
When Don did communion at St Pauls he always used to say, "let your light so shine before men and women, and boys and girls" referencing my son who I used to take down to the Thursday morning communion, they always included everyone, and they always let their lights shine brightly for the Lord. They were a beautiful couple. I visited her at the Chateau and took her some of her own famous bread, and she had another cat who looked just like Simon at the time.
My condolences to all her family, she told me the last time I saw her she would be happy to go home. A beautiful lady.
