Obituary of John Earl Hetherington
It is with profound sadness that the family of John Earl Hetherington, of Grand Bay-Westfield, announces his passing on Wednesday, January 25th at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 81. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia he was the loving son of Audrey (McKillop) and John M. Hetherington.
John was predeceased by his loving wife Winnifred (Beford) Hetherington and great granddaughter Sky DeChamp.
John will be missed by his sons John Allen (Heather), Ron, Thomas, William, Christopher, Ian (Becky), and Daughter Brandee Hetherington; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters Gail Brown and Bonnie Thomas (Byron); several nieces and nephews as well as countless friends.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Although no visitation will take place, a memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Kingdom Hall Road, Grand Bay-Westfield on Wednesday, February 1st, 2023, at 2pm.
