What a wonderful and gracious lady was my Aunt Rose. Actually my great Aunt. So nice to see her this past summer and thanks to my cousin Kelly for making that happen. After spending a wonderful lunch together Aunt Rose pressed some money into my hand and told me to take that girl for an ice-cream. She was referring to my girlfriend who she just met over lunch. So beautiful. Love Stephen Michael Riley.
Here is a pic from that wonderful day. Aunt Rose, my cousin Kelly and her beau Tim, Uncle Bob and Aunt Giselle, Fulvia and I. I don't believe she was feeling all that well then, but she still shone bright.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Riley-Crowley Families. Rose was a breath of sunshine and goodness. I have many fond memories of growing up in St.Rose Parish and encountering Rose. She shared lovely stories of my great aunts and uncles…Fentons. No matter when I met Rose over the years, she was always so gracious and kind. She truly was a a lady “ full of grace”. Continue to share stories with laughter and tears as you mourn and grieve. God Bless you, Donna Holding Schroeter

Rose was a smiling, shining light who was always up for a laugh. I remember her fondly from when she worked at my Dad’s dental office where I worked in the summers as a teenager. God will welcome you with open arms.

My condolences to Rose’s family. I got to know Rose a few years ago at the Saturday 5 o’clock Mass at the Cathedral when she asked me to bring communion down to her pew for her as she felt unsteady on her legs and didn’t want to walk up the aisle anymore. And every week she insisted on bringing me a little treat, either a chocolate bar or some candy. She was a great friend and always asking about my family. I will miss her.

Our deepest condolences. Aunt Rose was a very special person. You always felt good being around her because she was such a joyful person. One of my fondest memories was a Cruise on the Greek Ship "THE STELLA SOLARIS" that she & I went on with a wonderful Irish group from Saint John in 1987. It was one of the most memorable and enjoyable trips I have ever been on. She was a joy to be with as were the others. But Rose was special, she had a beautiful personality and always so happy to see you if you ran into her and she was that way with everyone. I treasure the album I made with the pictures of that cruise Rose, and it brings back the fun like it was yesterday. You were so kind to me & my boys when they lost their father. your nephew, when he was resting at Fitzpatrick and you looked after us with such love. Rose you will always be in our thoughts & prayers, Rest in peace - Love forever, Simonne Riley and family

Our condolences to Roses family. We at 55 Smythe Street will miss her smiley face. She was very special to us (The New Golden Girls) and she would always leave us little thank you gifts on our doors. Her and I had a special connection when I took on the role and name of Rose (Betty White) with our group. My heart smiles as I remember while I was sick, lost my hair and looked so bad she would call me Miss America and try to make me feel better. Ever since I met Rose she always went out of her way to make people happy. Rest in peace my dear friend. We will miss you. Your friend Debbie (aka Rose, aka miss America)
