Obituary of Carmen Theresa Pearce

It is with great sadness that the family of Carmen T. (Lauwshway) Pearce announces her passing which occurred on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Wolfville, NS, on February 11, 1945, she was the daughter of late Ruby Bouchie.

Carmen was a social butterfly, she loved everyone, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed a good game of bingo.

She leaves behind her children, Michael Beck, Tanya Daigle and Peter Hooper (Tina); grandchildren, Lillianne, Cecilia, Alexander; as well as her nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, Carmen was predeceased by her husband, Mark Pearce; brothers, Dan Barnaby and Peter Lauwshway.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A private family interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
