Obituary of Murray Donald Chestnut

The death of Murray Chestnut of Saint John occurred on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at his home.  Born on August 20, 1943 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Hazel Chestnut Hornbrook.

Murray will be lovingly remembered by his partner, Marie Fordham; sister, Carol Godfrey; nephews, Scott Godfrey and Grant Godfrey (Jamie) and their children, Aiden and Spencer; as well as other extended family members.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM.  Interment will take place at a later date in Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner.
