Dear Philip, Mattyas, Amanda, Millica and family,
Our memories of Glenna are far more recent than those of many others, having only had the privilege of knowing her for the last 28 of her 97 years.
Her obituary and memorial service provided a beautiful description of the vibrant woman that she was.
She made us think of Jeremiah, in that her love for Jehovah and the Bible truths she had learned proved to be as a "fire in her bones" that she could not hold in. We benefited from her example and look forward to seeing her again.
We offer our sincere sympathy to you all.

We were so sorry to hear of Glenna's passing. No matter how advanced in years, or unwell they may be, the loss of a parent or grandparent is difficult to bear.. Glenna was such a giving person. When my Dad was in hospital with cancer, she visited him every day and played cribbage with him. And she loved to sing. We look forward to seeing her once again in the new world as a young vibrant person.
We send our condolences to all her family.

Glenna was a force all her own. I remember her hair braided past her waist that she coiled into a crown on her head…she was a queen. She used to sit us as kids and she let me go through her costume jewelry once, she had a grand collection. I still love things that sparkle because of her! Condolences to Phillip and family❤️

Glenna was a vivid part of my childhood. She was friends with my aunt, Eleanor, and helped her a lot. She also helped my grandmother, Doris. She gave me my first guinea pig, Gabby, who I dearly loved.
Our deepest sympathy.

Ms. Glenna Huggard. What more can I say than she was a very wise Woman who I've asked many times about her understanding of verses within The New World Translation of the Holy Bible. Also there'd be an occasional question within the newspaper crossword puzzle and without hesitation she KNEW it's answer but wouldn't give it to me completely but hint of it , I later realized, to have me CONSIDER the answer. A warm and loving Lady who in MY opinion didn't beat around the bush . I am saddened, particularly for Philip her DEDICATED Son. Until the Resurrection into a Earth which harbors no I'll. She will be missed. Condolences to her Family and Friends.

I truly enjoyed knowing Glenna as a young boy growing up in the Carleton congregation. I remember her zeal and joy in service to Jehovah. Glenna will always be to me a true pioneer. One of my fondest memories is when she made me a vest of many colors when I was about 16 or so. It was dark green on the back, but....many vibrant colors on the front. As a teenager I was a little self conscious to wear such a brightly colored vest. Yet, I wanted to wear it because I understood the love she was expressing. I have thought of Glenna's example often over the years even though I am now in my sixties. I was glad to get to know her son for more than just the fact we share the same first name. By the way, its only one "l", but we don't mind the common misspelling. Glenna thought it was amusing that her son had a friend named Philip. However she would remind me who her favorite was. Can't wait to welcome back our dear sister with Philip. All my love, Phil Arsenault

So sorry. This is hard thing; death, especially of our "Mom". Glenna was like a grandmother to me since i was a little girl. I still remember sleeping over when i was little and her fox stoles hanging over the room divider starring at me, me hiding under the covers and Glenna comforting me not to be silly because i thought they were real. Glenna had tirelessly made time for me through my adolescents and early 20's helping me "back on track to that "narrow road" to everlasting life' She never was impatient with me or even angry.....she was a supporting force and shoulder to cry on over the years. Glenna showed me generosity beyond measure when i was at my lowest! She taught me how to study when i was 13. Glenna NEVER forgot us after Mom fell away for a few years, which meant everything to a father less girl.
She was will be missed as a "Driving force" in the ministry!

Dear Philip and family, so sorry to hear of the loss of Glenna. I met Glenna when I was a little girl after my Mum died. My Dad hired her to look after my brothers and me. I loved her! She was so lovely. She always wore a smile, never had a cross word, and was so kind to our family. I remember her home-made egg rolls which were delicious! I will cherish my many fond memories of Glenna.
