Obituary of Audrey Pauline Shannon
It is with broken hearts and love that the family of Audrey Pauline (Cosman) Shannon announces her passing, which occurred on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Springfield Parish on March 28, 1935.
Audrey is survived by her children Julia Robichaud, Heather Byrne (Bill), Sheldon Shannon (Doreen) and Patricia Shannon-Davis (Sandy); grandchildren Eryn, Megan, BJ, Shannon, Steven and Tanner and 9 great-grandchildren, sister Ernestine (Cosman) DeLong; sister-in-law, Veta Cosman, Dianne Scott; and many nieces and nephews.
She was dedicated to her family and all endeavours they pursued. She had such joy & passion for dancing, antiques, with the love of her life Donald Shannon (husband predeceased 2020).
Audrey is predeceased by her brothers Allan, Kenneth, Roy and Malcolm, her sisters Ella Brown, Mary Hough and Madeline Hanks.
Resting at Brenans Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424). With visitation on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 3:00 – 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, March 30, 2023, beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery. Donations in memory of Audrey may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com
