Obituary of Shannon Leigh Briggs

It is with great sadness that the family of Shannon Leigh (Mayes) Briggs announces her passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Born in Saint John, NB on September 13, 1975, she was a daughter of Gail Fanjoy and the late Kirk Mayes.

Shannon leaves behind her beloved husband of 25 years, Cashton Briggs; her mother, Gail Fanjoy; aunts, Brenda Bowling (Mike), Cheryl Austin, Karen MacNeill (Barry), Jane Smith (Kevin); uncles, Vernon Fanjoy (Lorri), Kurtis Fanjoy, Allan Fanjoy (Gay); as well as many cousins.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A private family funeral service will take place at Rivercross Church. Donations in memory of Shannon may be made to Carma Rescue Maritimes - Saint John Chapter.
