To Sister Nicky's family and the Sisters of Charity,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Sister Nicky. She truly was a pure joy to run into, as her warmth and beautiful loving radiant smile always made a person instantly feel she was so happy to see them. Sister Nicky was also blessed with the gift of humour and I so enjoyed the many laughs we shared together. Sister Nicky lived out of her faith everyday and was such a witness of God's love to all who were blessed to be in her presence.
Lots of Love and Prayers,
Donna Belding

Dear Nicky. She was kind, with a wonderful sense of humour, but could give you a piece of her mind (in the nicest possible way) if you made her cross. She was known and loved by the many people whose lives she touched over the years who must be in the hundreds. Nicky, you’re safe in the arms of Jesus. Rest easy.

My condolences to the family and everyone who knew Sister Nickerson.
Writing this for my family,
Sister Nickerson was a blessing in everyone's life who knew her. She would always go above and beyond to help anyone she crossed paths with.
My Aunt Karen had her first communion in the early 60's and Sister Nickerson made sure she was dressed as fancy as could be! This memory has stuck with my Aunt for the last 50+ years, as well as many other memories!
My cousin Kimberly Cormier-Amero was a student of Sister Nicky's in the early 80's!
Kim has been missing since 1985, and every time we asked Sister Nickerson to come speak at our "National Missing Children's Day Vigil" she would be the most pleased to accept the offer.
Everyone growing up in the 60's to 80's has fond memories of Sister Nickerson and we shall cherish those memories for life!
Rest Peacefully Sister Nickerson.

Nicky was my Spiritual Director and my dear friend. My heart breaks for her journey in the last couple of years. She so loved her independence, her work with Avenue B (formally AIDS SJ), and all of the ways in which she could do God's work. She loved to connect with her friends over a cup of tea. Her road was not an easy one but she never lost sight of her Master. She taught me so much, lessons that I will hold for the rest of my life. Thank you, Nicky. I will miss you and your beautiful smile and I will feel joy for your next journey in heaven. My sincerest condolences to her family,

Our deepest condolences to Sister Nicky's family and to the Sisters of Charity. She was a good friend and we will miss her. Sister Nicky certainly lived the Gospel in a most humble way. She touched many lives with her unconditional love. She advocated for those without a voice. The fruits of her ministry will continue to make a difference on Earth now that she rests in peace in eternity with the Holy Trinity.

I first met Sr Nickerson in Sussex where she taught me Sunday school on Saturday's.I loved her.I became a nurse in 1975 and had her as my patient. We became friends and everytime I came home from Medicine Hat Alberta I always got together with her even when she was in St Stephen my father would drive me there.I could talk to her about anything.I also looked after her dad when he was a patient at St Joseph's Hospital.I was blessed to spend time on the swing with her at the Village and they were having a July 1st party a few days early. We were on that swing over 2 hours and they had drinks and ice cream which she really enjoyed. To her family I know how much she loved all of you and how good you were to her.It is a great loss but so hard to watch as her dementia became worse.I am thankful she is now at peace with Jesus in heaven.
