Funeral Service
Obituary of Melissa Rachel Duplisea
It is with great sadness that the family of Melissa Rachel (Clements) Duplisea announce her passing which occurred on April 15th, 2023. Melissa was born February 20th, 1988 at the Saint John Regional Hospital to Helen-Rose Piercey and Andrew Clements.
Melissa was a hard-working, resilient and caring woman. From the year 2005 and on, she showed nothing but love and care to her children, friends and extended family. She loved to go for long drives in the countryside, indulge in movies and dramatic reality TV, braid and style hair and enjoy mango-pineapple smoothies. From a barista at Tim Hortons to Funeral Home receptionist, Melissa had worked to the fullest of her ability in order to house and feed her family. She had managed to push through every dilemma which posed an obstacle for her and put her family first, regardless of her situation and struggles.
Melissa is survived by her father, Andrew Clements; her mother, Helen Piercey; her children, Chaneil, Devin, Missy and Kalvin; her siblings, Jonathan and Scott; her husband, Devin Duplisea; her aunt, Holly Cameron and uncle, Wayne Cameron. She was predeceased by her brother, Isaac Clements; her cousin, Graham Cromwell and her aunt, Joyce (Clements) Beausoleil.
Although there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service which will take place from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row (506-634-7424) on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023 at 12:00 PM.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
