Obituary of Roger Dean Moses

The loved ones of Roger Moses of Saint John sadly announce his passing which occurred on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on March 31, 1956 in Digby, NS, he was a son of Ronald Moses and the late Pauline (Winnie) Moses.

Roger enjoyed kickboxing, football, kung fu and spending time with family and dear friends.  He will be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

In addition to his father, Roger will be lovingly remembered by his children, Roger Muise (Tricia), Tricia Goree and Tanya Goree; siblings, Calvin Moses (Joanne), Ronald Moses (Marie), Peggy Gallant, Murray Moses, Kelly Moses and Mary-Jane Winnie (James); eight grandchildren including his grandson, Bentley-Hunter Muise; best friend, Kenny Lawrence Sr.; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides his mother, Roger was predeceased by his brothers, Derrick Moses and Walter Moses (in infancy) and nephew, Jordan Ells.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.  However, relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will take place on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424).

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
