Obituary of Donna Ruth Ross
It is with great sadness that the family of Donna Ruth Ross, beloved wife of the late Charles Ross, announce her passing which occurred on Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Church of St. John & St. Stephen Home. Born on May 15, 1942 in Armstrong's Corner, she was a daughter of the late Len and Ruth (Francisco) Queen.
Donna loved horses and was passionate about the sport of horse racing. She always enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. Donna was a gracious hostess and especially looked forward to the family holiday gatherings where she was known for her delicious meals and baked goods.
Donna will be lovingly remembered by her children, C. Alan Ross (Coleen), Vivian Floyd and Faye Scribner (Scott Waddell); grandchildren, Emily, Hannah, Jacob, Wayne, Ashley, Alyssa, James and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Shyanne, Sierra, Aiden, Kayden, Khloe, Aaliyah, Terrance, Brooklynn, Isaiah and Landon; cousins, Mary Queen and Dorothy Stevens; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by sisters, Phyllis MacRae and Marion Mersereau.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, a private funeral service will be held. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke Society of NB.
