Ann was a most beautiful person and always upbeat. She told the most amazing stories of the ups and downs of living with Cerebral Palsy. Ann never let it define who she was, and was always ready to tell yet another funny incident that had happened to her because of circumstances, often hotels not being accessible or her wheelchair malfunctioning. She had a great sense of humour. Helen you will miss your friend so much, it will be like missing your right arm.
Condolences to Ann's family, who I did not know but of whom Ann spoke so very highly.

Sending my most sincere sympathy to Anne's family at this sad time. Also thinking of Anne's close friend and greatest support, Helen. Your devotion and unconditional support to Anne over so many years has been so honorable. Anne was truly an amazing, patient and determined lady and I consider myself privileged to have to known and worked with her for many many years. Anne taught me so many things and I will miss her.

Thinking of all of Ann’s family at this difficult time. My heart and thoughts are with all of you.
I remember meeting Ann at physio sessions and when we would glace at each other, we would break out in laughter. The physio thought we were laughing at her and sent both Ann and me out to the hall to punish us.

Sending my most heart-felt condolences to Ann's always supportive and caring family and to Helen who has been a most dedicated friend and care-giver!
Ann spoke very often about her entire family - about her parents, her many nieces and nephews and especially about her brothers and sisters!
She often expressed how fortunate she felt that she had so much support from her siblings, especially since many others have so little support! She would say that any time she needed anything, all she had to do was call and she could always count on them to be there for her, each in their own way!
She also spoke of how grateful she was for Helen - for her many years of friendship and for her seemingly tireless care. Any time Ann needed anything, Helen was right there. Ann spoke about feeling so lucky that she was able to live an independent life and she said that Helen made that possible but it was obvious that it was her friendship with Helen that truely enriched Ann's life!
Ann was a soft-hearted, usually patient, mostly positive and often funny person! She will be missed and always remembered by all who knew her, including me.
Fondly Remembered by Linda Burnett

Bill and I will always remember: The many games of Uno and threats of Italian relatives, Laughing like fools walking through the Loyalist burial ground, Ann powering through a snowstorm with her glasses filling up on the inside, coming back from Digby with no power(thanks Mrs.Woolven!!) and so much more.
You now dwell forever in realms of light.
Farewell dear friend.
