Obituary of Michael Good Clarke

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Michael Good Clarke of Surrey, BC, which occurred on May 20, 2023. Born in Saint John, he was a son of Nellie (Perry) and the late Wayne Clarke.

He attended King Edward School, finishing Saint Malachy’s High School, played South end Little League, he enjoyed being around the horses at E.P.R., he helped at the John Davies Stable for the summer.  He loved the Boston Bruins hockey Team and Larry Bird was his favorite basketball player, he had a good nature and was always willing to lend a hand. He loved going for drives with his grandfather and especially playing cards 45’s. He also was in the Boy Scouts.

Besides his mother he is survived by one brother: Thomas (Bucky) of Saint John; one niece: Jessica Perry of Saint John; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father: Wayne Clarke; one sister: Kathy Perry.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 28, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row Saint John, NB (506-634-7424), there will be no funeral home visitation, Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
