We are still in shock at the news of Howard’s passing and struggle for words to express our immense sorrow to Donna and family. Howard was a man of impeccable character whose heart and spirit transcended the boundaries of his chosen profession. His love for family was a testament to his humanity - a trait that shone through everything he did. He genuinely cared for others and had an extraordinary ability to touch lives, install hope and inspire others. He certainly touched our lives in very significant ways. Rest in peace our friend.

We met your dad and mum back in the early 70's, we became friends right away and Donna asked me if I was avaibable to look after their kids. I was thrilled because I too came from a large family [ 13 ] The time I spent there was cerianly fulfilling and highlite of my life living in Hampton. Howard was one of the kindest people I ever knew. In high school, like many of the kids’ friends, he and Donna opened their home to me and made me feel like a part of their family. We were saddened to read of Howard's death. We had lotta fun at the home (farm) with Howard, Donna and all the kids back in the day. Family man, exceptional lawyer with a keen wit and sense of humour .. we used to compare our "back pains" looking for some kind of relief. Howard was "one of the best".
