Dear Pat, Michele and Tony,
My deepest condolence to the family. Although expected, it was still a shock to learn of Gerald's passing.
I have many fond memories of the times spent in Pat and Gerald's home stopping over on my way from BC to Newfoundland. There I was fed delicious traditional NL food that tied me over until I hit the "Rock."
I always felt welcome and in later years when I stopped over with my boys, Gerald entertained them by taking them in on the base showing them all the interesting military equipment.
Gerald was a very proud Military man. All his adult life was spent in service to his country. It was such an honor when presented with the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for his many years of service.

Condolences to the family, I served with Gerry in Germany and Gagetown. While in Gagetown(Oromocto) Gerry was my neighbour for many years and was a great friend and help to me and my family, especially when I was away from home which was often. Can remember having a few green beers with Gerry on St Patty’s Day. Chimo old friend and RIP.

Ah so sorry! Condolences! Remember him well from early 50's in Windsor, NL. He took me in the woods on his horse (Star) and sleds on a cold winter's day!
