Obituary of Steven Donald Corkum

It is with broken hearts that the family of Steven Donald Corkum announces his passing which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice, surrounded by his family on July 18, 2023, after a two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer.

Steve was the eldest son of the late Donald Garfield and Brenda Jeanette (Warner) Corkum.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Steve loved the Montreal Canadiens and New York Giants.  He loved spending time with family and friends.  Steve was always the first to lend a helping hand.  Those who knew and loved him will miss him forever.

Steve is survived by his wife, Christine (Shannon) Corkum; children, Lacie Corkum, Steven Corkum and Brandon Corkum; step-son, Mike James and daughter-in-law, Brittany Wilson; grandchildren, Sayler, Italie, Teagan, Aiden and Ava; brothers, Danny Corkum, Sean Corkum and Bryan Corkum, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and many friends.  In addition to his father and mother, Steve was predeceased by his best friend, John Akerley.

At Steve’s request, there will be no services held.
