Clair was a good friend of my grandmother, Marguerite O’Dell, both in childhood back in Bloomfield and also later as neighbours at the Beatty. I often shared the elevator with Mr.Taber at the Beatty, and he was one of my favourite residents there. I know Nan will be overjoyed to meet up with her old friend again where they are now.

Dear Audrey, I was sorry to hear that Claire has passed away. I am praying for you. As I looked at his picture I could hear his laugh. I know he loved you and he is now with the Lord he loved and faithfully served. Remember the Lord is with you and will be there with you each day ahead as He has been in all the past days. He promised and He keeps all of His promises. Isaiah 43:1,2 and 41;10,13

Audrey : I send my love & deepest condolences to you & your family on the passing of Clair. I knew you both very well from our days at Forest Hills Baptist Church in the early 1970's. Clair & yourself showed me the example of living a Life for JESUS CHRIST. You both were clear examples of servanthood. I am blessed for knowing you both. Today Clair celebrates his home coming into our SAVIOUR'S presence, for all eternity, & to our home as well. For we will see Clair again with all the believers who have gone on before us, who are with JESUS CHRIST.
I send my Love : Allan V Lewell

We loved Uncle Clair, he was such a kind, warm, curious, and loving human being. He accepted everyone for who they were, never passed judgment, and always had a kind word to share. He will be missed and forever remembered.

Bob and I send our sincere condolences to Clair's family. We have many fond memories of Clair and Audrey as they worked closely for the King's Daughters and Sons. Also the special way they collected items for victims of family violence, both of these things never to be recognized by the recipients. They were a match made in heaven. Unfortunately due to ill health we are unable to attend the service, however, our prayers will be with them. Ann & Bob Turcotte

Audrey and all your extended family,
I am sending love and comfort from your Forest Hills Baptist Church family. Clair was a faithful and kind member always willing to express his sincere relationship with the Lord through word and deed. We are so thankful that Clair lived close to the Lord while here on earth and that he now has entered his new heavenly existence through our Lord Jesus. He has heard the voice of the Good Shepherd and he is now home.
Blessings in Christ,
Pastor Roger and Roxanne and the FHB family.

Sorry to hear of Clair's passing and condolances to Audry, Lois, Shirley, Dale and families. Lots of good memories of Clair who was never at a loss for words and will miss his dry wit and stories. However, he has been promoted to Heaven where we will meet again. May our great God provide peace and comfort in these difficult days.

Yes, and our grandmother Nellie Crabbe gave Clair organ lessons. A number of the mentioned siblings of Clair’s were neighbors of the our Crabbe grandparents in Bloomfield. I used to see Clair in the city market after he retired and we would have a chat. Always had a twinkle in his eye! Great smile! So good to have known him and Audrey! My condolences to family and friends!
