Obituary of Michael Hebert

With broken hearts and immense sadness, the family of Michael Hebert, beloved husband of 11 years to Karen (O’Keefe) Hebert, announce his unexpected passing on Thursday, September 14, 2023. Born July 20, 1973, in Saint John, NB, he was the son of Gregory Hebert and Janet (Tyler) Hebert.

Michael worked at Bicentennial Care Home with his father for many years. He loved his family and loved fishing. He loved listening to 80s music and watching movies. He also loved his number one feline Bendy, who would greet him every morning when he came home from work.

In addition to his loving wife of 11 years, his mother, Janet, and father, Gregory, Michael is survived by his children: Michael Hebert, Alexander Chavarie, David Chavarie, Brianna Thibodeau (Austin), Destiny Rennick, Emily Chavarie, Michelle Chavarie, and Jordyn Hebert; grandchildren: Dominic, Alycen, Aliea, Ezeckiel, Matteo, and Evander; sister, Stacey Munn (Gary); nieces: Miranda (Tyler Moss), Megan, and Peyton; nephews, Tristin and Connor; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many cousins and friends.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424) with visitation on Monday, September 18, 2023, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 1 pm from Brenan’s Chapel with a reception to follow. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
