Obituary of Ruth Anne Kopp

With heavy hearts, the family of Ruth Anne (Miller) Kopp, beloved wife of Kenneth, announce her passing, which occurred on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at her residence in Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born February 27, 1943, in Oshawa, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret (Gee) Miller.

Ruth could be characterized by train travel, the recreational facilities of Saskatchewan’s Qu’Appelle Valley, the cottage life of central Saskatchewan’s Emma Lake, and in general people watching and socializing at various social settings from urban restaurants, music festivals and public beaches.

In addition to her husband, Kenneth, of 54 years, Ruth is survived by her son, Stephen Kopp (Monica Adair); grandsons, Hugo Kopp and Valentino Kopp; sisters: Jane Rimmer, Katherine Malcolm (Stan), and Elizabeth Adair (Richard); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). In keeping with the family’s wishes, a private time of remembrance will be observed at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to The Rocmaura Foundation would be appreciated.
