Obituary of Mary Ellen Cormier
It is with profound sadness that the family of Mary Cormier announces her passing in her 95th year, which occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on October 24, 2023. Born in Pugwash Nova Scotia, to her parents Hubert and Vennetta Teed.
Mary is survived by her daughter Julie Cormier, sons Blaine Siddall, Weldon Siddall, David Siddall, her sisters Ida Holmes (North Carolina) Christine Morris (Nova Scotia) Claira Lepeirre (Nova Scotia), and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
She worked as a nurse all her life, she even had her own nursing home in Amherst, Nova Scotia. Mary loved her family and friends, she would do anything for them.
She loved to run the roads and go shopping and bingo, she also loved music; her favourite songs were Old Rugged Cross, In the Garden, and When the roll is called up yonder.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, New Brunswick (506-634-7424).
