Obituary of Herbert James Keyes
It is with deep sadness that the family of Herbert James Keyes announces his passing, which occurred peacefully on November 8, 2023. Herb was born in Saint John on May 31, 1938 and was a graduate of Saint John Vocational School in 1957. Following high school, he began his long and successful career in car sales with Lawson Motors, eventually becoming General Manager. He later worked for Industrial Security until his retirement. Herb enjoyed watching baseball, WWII movies, spending time with his grandchildren, feeding the birds, and walking.
Herb is survived by his beloved partner Patricia (Calloway), his five children David (Jennifer), Michael, Beth (Bliss), Paul (Nicole) and Gregory (Kathryn); his sister Susan (Preston); as well as his cherished grandchildren (Kerstyn, Anna, Madelyn, Julia, Brian, Avery, Abigail, Natasha, Evan, and Quinne). He was predeceased by his parents (Clarence and Pauline), and brothers John, Robert and Claire.

Herb will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). In keeping with Herb’s wishes, a private family interment will be held at a later date.
