I remember Mrs. Main as a gentle and caring Mom. She was quite willing to load, the neighbourhood children, friends of Susan and David, in her car in rainy school days. We appreciated that!
Susan, David and family, we are very sorry for your loss.
Love,

To David and Paula, Susan and Peter, PD and Jennifer, please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of your dear Mother/Grandmother. Jean was a dear sister-in-law to me and Bill, we had a close relationship over the years. In our later years we have kept in contact over the telephone and I will miss hearing her voice when we shared daily life events and remembered fun family times from our early married life when on summer visits to 'Restawee' at Sandy Point, NB and later years when our paths crossed again while living in Halifax, NS, Ontario, and back to NB and NS in senior years. Along with Bea and Stan, Charlie and Betty, Bob and Jean, Bill and I had a most wonderful relationship with our families for which I am most thankful. I wish you all happy memories for comfort.

We send our condolences in memory of a lovely lady. Bob & Jean hosted the christening party for our son at their house in Secord Lane. They were very good to us when we moved from Bermuda to Etobicoke and we were settling into our new home. We will miss Jean and will remember her fondly. Chuck, Paula, Will and Sarah

I am saddened at the news to this ladies passing. A dear, parish "mum" whom I shall miss dearly. Jean was the epitome of grace, class and beauty inside and out.
I will miss her, as will many others.

We are so sorry to have lost another wonderful friend. Jean was a beautiful lady who was an active and faithful member of our congregation. She was a Scripture reader and Choir member. I shall always remember with a big smile when one day while I was doing home visitation in the Parish. I arrived at Jean’s place close to lunch time. She invited me into her home to share lunch with her. When I told her all I wanted was a peanut butter sandwich she was absolutely flabbergasted. And yes she made me that sandwich and forever thereafter when we met we always had a great laugh over the peanut butter sandwich. We will always miss you Jean and may you rest in the Peace of Christ. Our deepest sympathy to all of her family
