Obituary of Audrey Davis
With broken hearts, the family of Audrey Davis of Summerville, beloved wife of Allen Davis, announce her untimely passing which occurred on Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with family at her side. Born on March 22, 1952 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Lois (Jefferies) Prosser.
This strong and stubborn woman had an amazing smile that could light up the darkest of rooms. She always treasured the times spent with her loved ones and especially looked forward to creating special memories with her precious grandchildren. She was a passionate Toronto Maple Leafs fan and loved watching hockey games with her special grandson, Dylan. Audrey also enjoyed attending car races, hunting, her family camp in Goshen and of course Christmas (her favourite holiday).
In addition to her loving husband of 53 years, Allen, Audrey is survived by her children, Allen Davis Jr. (Susan) and Kimberly Gallant (Andy); precious grandchildren who were her world, Dylan Allen Davis, Mitchell Leonard Gallant and Trinity May Gallant; siblings, Esther Tobin (Robert), Ira Prosser (Janice), Jane Prosser (George) and Joey Prosser (Jane); best friend, Margaret Clark; as well as her special furry canine companion, Chico.
In keeping with Audrey’s wishes, no formal services will take place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424).
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Diabetes Canada.
