Obituary of Ricky Allan Blizzard
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ricky Allan Blizzard, which occurred on Monday, December 4, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Saint John, NB on April 11, 1957, he was a son of the late Percy “Whipper” and Joyce (Nesbitt) Blizzard.
Ricky worked alongside his father at the Fairville Bottle Exchange for over 35 years. He also spent time working for the Local 900 Labour Union. Ricky loved hanging out with friends, going for long drives, and his Toronto Maple Leafs.
He leaves behind his best friend, Lorrie; brother, David (Theresa); sister, Debra; nephews, Jeremy (Eileen) and Jonathan (Annick); as well as his niece, Jillian. In addition to his parents, Ricky was predeceased by his brother, Wade, and his two cats, Casper and Josephine.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). With visitation on Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 2:00 – 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held from The Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, December 8, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ricky may be made to Romero House. Online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com
