Obituary of Marina Elizabeth Gale

GALE, Marina Elizabeth

May 13,1939 – December 9, 2023 

The family of Marina Gale are saddened to announce her passing, which occurred on December 9, 2023 with family by her side at her residence Shannex in Saint John, NB. Marina was born May 13, 1939, in Placentia, Newfoundland, the daughter of the late Fred and Rita (Wakeham) Tobin. 

Marina is survived by her sons; David Gale, Robert Gale (Lisa), and Glen Gale (Nora); her daughter Lynette Belliveau (Paul); her siblings Gerald, Mary, John, Arch, Rose, Edward, and Bernice; her grandchildren Jeffrey Gale-O’Handley (Lisa Boucher), Alexis Belliveau, Robert Gale Jr. (Julia Barry), and Jennifer Gale; her great-grandchildren Aiden Boucher, Brinley Gale-O’Handley, and Callaway Gale-O’Handley; as well as many extended family members and friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by Bill Gale, and her brothers Fred and Desmond. 

Marina is resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424). Funeral Service will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 10:00 AM with interment to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
