Spragg: Agnes A. (nee Cameron)
Peacefully, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Monday, January 15th, 2024, Agnes A. Spragg (nee Cameron) passed away at the age of 80. Born in Scotland on November 15th, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Elizabeth Cameron (nee Rushford).
Agnes is survived by her beloved husband Donald Spragg, her children Thomas McCall (fiancée Charlene McLellan), and Michelle Carvell (William), her sister Racheal “Rae” Mackie, as well as by her grandchildren Cameron, William, Julia, and Autumn. She will be deeply missed by her many friends and her extended family.
Besides her parents, Agnes was predeceased by her siblings Margaret Whyte, Elizabeth Thomas, Adam Cameron, and George Cameron.
Agnes enjoyed the thrill of playing darts and bingo. She and Don loved attending musical jams, Agnes listening to Don sing, and found so much joy in their frequent little “getaways” together.
In keeping with Agnes’ wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at Brenan’s Funeral Home (506-634-7424), 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, on Saturday, January 20th, 2024, from 2 to 5pm. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John, will take place at a later date.
