Dear Kristie,
Please accept my most heartfelt condolences regarding the loss of your father, Bob, and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family - more so during this difficult time.
The first time I met Bob was at an anniversary party for mutual friends and we hit it off like two friends who had known each other for a long time. We spent most of that evening in each other's company and had a great time conversing on a number of topics - he was an absolute delight! On subsequent meetings we seemed to pick up where we left off - a true gentleman indeed. It was an honour to have known him.
Take good care of yourself, and each other, and keep the Faith. If I can be of any assistance during this time (or in the future) please don't hesitate to let me know.
Most Sincerely,
-Tony Correia

Our deepest condolences for the loss of a very good man ; Mary , Kieth, Kristie, grandchildren , sisters Dorothy and Nancy . I had the honor and yes indeed the privilege to have known Bob for many years , going back to our teenage years at the CYO. Even at that young age Bob was heavily involved by voiunteering when ever the beed arose .The words in the obituary describe Bob as the man that most of us knew him to be . He exemplified the word volunteer . Throughout his life , he gave much of his time selflessly volunteering to help those in need. As stated he was a avid sportsman, a Man's man. But most importantly he was a committed family man . In this world we meet many people and there are those that are givers and those that are takers . Bob McHugh was a giver far beyond our appreciation . As he was very modest and just went about his business , getting things done and looking for nothing in return . He will sadly be missed . Bob you have done well good and faithful servant , may you rest in peace .

So sorry to see Bob's name here. He was one of my earliest memories back in the 50's going to Saint Joseph's school on Richmond Street and to the Holy Trinity Boy's Scouts meetings on Rockland Road every Tuesday night bringing our 10cent dues. LOL
Hiking and Camping were the big adventures at that age and as Scouts we knew everything about Nature.....at least we thought we did. Know that our prayers are with you and your family
