Obituary of Gloria Jean LeFrancois
It is with great sadness that the family of Gloria (Tudy) Jean LeFrancois (Marr), beloved wife of the late Adrien LeFrancois, announce her passing which took place at her cherished home on Henry Lake, on February 6, 2024.
She was born on January 15, 1942, the daughter of the late Alfred and Hilda (Maher) Marr.
Tudy enjoyed every minute spent at her favorite place Henry Lake, but her most cherished gifts were her family and her reason for being. Most times she could be found sitting in her favorite spot on the couch overlooking the lake with knitting needles in hand, supplying her grandkids with mittens, a cup of tea, and her cat Blacky beside her. She enjoyed the company of family, friends, and neighbors who were always there for her.
Her unending love will live on in the hearts of her Son and Daughter-in-law Norman and Lori, Daughter-in-law Sharon, Grandchildren Alisha (Vern), Cody (Alyssa), Cale (Kayla), Chrissy, Aaron (Kelly), Tori (Chase), and Cayden. Her most cherished Great-Grandchildren, to whom she was known as “Nannie out the lake”, Zander, Harlen, Zack, Halle, Decan, and Zoe. Sister Donna Henderson, Brother Murry (Jerri) Marr, and her niece Shelly Walsh (Trecartin) who held a very special place in her heart, and her many nieces and nephews.
Besides her loving Husband and parents, she is predeceased by her son Christopher James, her granddaughter Taylor, brother Norman Marr, and Sister Deeda Trecartin.
We would like to extend thanks to Brian and Norma Dykeman, Vick and Debbie Lavigne, Cindy Clayton, and Holly/Tara from Extra-Mural for their special care.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). Visitation will be on Friday, February 9th from 2 pm-4 pm and 6 pm-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. William's Church, Route 111 St. Martins at 11 am Saturday, February the 10th. Interment will take place at a later date.
For those who wish, remembrances made to St. William's Church or IWK would be appreciated by the family.
