Obituary of Douglas Wayne Scoville
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Douglas Wayne Scoville announces his sudden passing on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in Sant John New Brunswick. Born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick on April 27th, 1981, he was a son to Wayne Scoville (Vicki) and the late Nancy Scoville.
The memories Douglas shared with his children will forever be cherished by them. They spent many hours driving around the city listening and singing along to the song Grandma got run over by a reindeer. If they weren’t on the road, they could be found at grandma’s house cutting into the worlds smallest cake from Brookes brand new easy bake oven. Douglas had a special love for his children but his love for the Montreal Canadians always topped second best to his children.
Douglas will be deeply missed by his two loving children: Drew Eatmon and Brooke Eatmon; sisters: Carrie Scoville (Tony), Jamie Nutter (JR), and Jessica Scoville; Brothers: Adam Scoville (Chyenne) and Chris Scoville (Cailey); 16 nieces and nephews; very close friend, James Roy; and the mother of his children Sabrina Eatmon.
Besides his mother he was predeceased by his stepdad, Ronald McKinney; parental grandparents: Aaron and Marion Scoville; nephew, Damien Scoville; and very special friend Angie Roy.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). A visitation will take place on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 1 PM to 2 PM with a funeral service to follow from the Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Douglas’s memory can be made to a charity of the donors choice.
