Obituary of Claudette Stilwell

The death of Claudette Stilwell of Saint John, loving wife of the late Blaine “Sparkplug” Stilwell, occurred on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on September 27, 1939 in Grand Falls, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Jean (Pelletier) Levesque.

Claudette will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Owen (Deborah), Brian (Jennifer) and Shawn; grandchildren, Jeremy, Cassandra, Nicholas, Zachary, Ben and Lauren; great-grandson, Marshall Owen Borthwick and brothers and sisters, Lloyd (Anne), Shirley, Jane, Susan, Grace, Raymond, Philip, Stephen and Wesley.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Noel, Azilda, Gerald, Camille, Verne, and Frederick.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service will take place.  However, relatives and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service which will take place on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Holy Cross Cemetery, 1215 Sand Cove Road, Saint John.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row.
