Hello our wonderful, sweet sister Diane. I have so many good memories from my young years growing up in Carleton. Both you and Glenn are a big part of that. I truly appreciated your example as a great team that contributed to such a loving and supportive congregation. Glenn, as mentioned in the talk and in so many comments on zoom, was so patient and kind and that included to me. One story that exemplifies that: I remember shortly after getting baptized, at 14 years of age, I had this great idea to wear a cartoon Tweety Bird t-shirt to the then Congregation Bible study. As soon as I arrived, I realized what a poor decision that was and was so embarrassed! Glenn, with no sarcasm at all, approached kindly and said: I have a t-shirt like that with Sylvester the cat. It just made me feel so good and relieved not to be condemned. LOL Of course, I never did that again. I sure appreciated the both of you in the congregation. Lots more stories to tell you when I see you again. All my love to you and your family.

Dear Diane
Rob and I had hoped to be with you in person to remember Glenn but circumstances won’t permit. We hope to be with you via Zoom. It is so difficult to see your loved one decline. You were an outstanding wife, part of a good team, and loyal caregiver. I remember Glenn as a quiet, soft spoken man. A kind man with a dry sense of humour. A gentleman and a faithful brother. Our family connection to you both goes back many years to when you first knew my parents. We all long to see him again and we have no doubt Jehovah has a yearning to restore his faithful servant. May Jehovah wrap his arms around you as the loving father he is and give you strength to keep moving forward to our New World when we shall soon see our loved ones restored to good health.
Love from Heather and Rob McLaughlin.

Memories of Glenn:
Faithfully participating in the ministry, the meetings, sharing meals, showing interest in others and following thru with practical and spiritual assistance, calm, kind, considerate. Providing transportation so others wouldn't miss out on association & encouragement.
Glenn has been missed for several years now, we look forward to when he will be himself again.
We send our deep love and sympathy.

From my earliest days in St. John as a pioneer with Christine, Glenn and Diana were always there for us. We also loved being with the boys when little and even babysitting them. So glad Karl and I were able to visit with them a few years ago. Karl enjoyed tour of reversing falls with Glenn. (Not so much Glenn’s driving) our deepest sympathy to Diana and the family. Love Karl and Diana (nee Mitchell)

Uncle Glenn was always a favorite of mine. I always appreciated his quiet demeanor, his wry sense of humor and his gentle kindness, and he and Auntie Di's example as Christians was a motivating factor in my becoming one of Jehovah's Witnesses over 30 years ago. Their loving example inspired me to try to be a better person by following Christ's example. We are confident that Glenn is alive in Jehovah's memory, and Uncle Glenn's unwavering faith in the resurrection will come true. We love you Di.
