We regret that we did not know Ed Tracy. My wife Dawn and I have know his sister Margie for many years. She was a great friend of Evelyn Sweezey, Dawn’s sister. We were aware of Margie’s abiding love for her brother. For years, she phoned him every day, visited frequently, and was caring in so many ways. These acts of love are evidence of Margie’s selfless nature. Ed must have been a marvellous person. Dawn and I send our deepest sympathies for you and your family’s loss. Sincerely, Bill Johnson and Dawn Russell

My dearest friend Margie, both Ross and I were very saddened to hear about the passing of your brother Ed. I can't image how you must feel right now. I know how close you were to him. I certainly recall the first time I met Ed while in Saint John with you. He was a great tour guide and took great pleasure in showing us around the City. We certainly had some great laughs driving around the streets of Saint John after midnight!!
Only those who are lucky enough to have a brother can understand the bond and the pain of losing them. I know Ed was very special to you. May you take comfort in all the loving memories you shared with him and your countless hours talking over the phone.
My deepest sympathies and condolences for your loss.

My sincere condolences to the Tracy family! I too worked with Ed patrolling the west side. He was a great storyteller for sure. He was an outdoor enthusiast, with great stories of his adventures on the road and his beloved camp. Loved running into him as he always had a story to share. He was such a loyal, honourable guy and will surely be missed by all who knew Ed. Rest in Peace, my friend. Joe & Trudy Roper

I am a friend of Ed's sister Margie (a point of clarification as I am sure it is a little confusing, given that his wife is Marg Tracy and his sister is Margaret/Margie Tracy.) I never had the pleasure of meeting Ed, but felt that I knew him vicariously through Margie, who talked of him often, perhaps almost as much as she talked to him, which I understand was every single night.
I heard about her wonderful big brother often, and know how much he will be missed.
Condolences to my good friend Margie on the loss of her brother, and to Marg and Jon on the loss of a husband and father.
