Obituary of Bernard Joseph Caissie

It is with great sadness that the family of Bernard Joseph Caissie announces his passing which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Born in Fairisle, NB, on October 22, 1949, he was a son of the late Annie (Caissie) Breau.

Bernie leaves behind his children, Ronnie (Leslie), Roland, and Carla (Tracy); grandchildren, Tre, Dana, Cameron, Keenan, and Josiah; great grandson Atlas; brother Donald (Loretta); niece Alicia; as well as several cousins.

Bernie spent over 30 years working for Ocean Steel.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 1:00 – 7:00 PM. Donations in memory of Bernie may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or The Canadian Cancer Society.
