To Gary and all of Dawn's loved ones,
I came to know Dawn as an adult through working with her to maintain her health after her stroke. In working with Dawn I saw her determination to improve her physical and mental well being. I also saw her wisdom about life and when talking about her work over the years. As well, I got to see Dawn's kindness, empathy and sense of humor. Through working with Dawn along with my husband( garçon!) Reg, we forged a wonderful professional and personal relationship with her as well as with Gary. It was such an inspiration to see the beautiful relationship and love that she and Gary shared with each other. Their caring and concern for each other was evident in all aspects of their lives. As well as knowing Dawn as an adult as her physiotherapist, I also discovered that I had known both Dawn and Ken as a young child through my dad. Dad and Ken worked together many years ago and I had visited them with my dad frequently as a child.
Reg and I would like to send our thoughts and condolences to Gary and the family at this time.

Our condenses to Gary and the Larson family on Dawns passing. When we first moved to the Beach road we found many wonderful family's here and Dawn and Ken Larson were one of them. It was a pleasure to get to know Ken and Dawn as they enjoyed their home, beach and that terrific sail boat sitting out in front of our homes. As the years passed and Gary Gill arrived to spend time with Dawn we saw them enjoy the time here and as they traveled away on adventures. Its a wonderful thing when two people can meet to enjoy life and care for one another when they find themselves alone. Gary we are so grateful to have you as a neighbor and friend here on the Beach road and to see your love, loyalty and compassion for for Dawn in these last 6 years has been inspiring. The service was emotional for many as we listened to your wonderful story of life with Dawn. We are greatly appreciative of you giving a us a look into your lives and the love and care you shared.
God bless you all.

To Dawn's family: I was saddened to read Dawn's obit. She and I were inducted into the King's Daughters & Sons together 42 years ago, with many memories made. She was a faithful member for many years until her health did not permit it. Dawn was such a loving caring person she will be missed by many. Although I have not seen her for a few years, I have tried to keep updated on her condition and was not surprised by her tenacity to get home so often. She was a fighter. May she rest in peace,

My Heart goes out to you Gary. I know the love and dedication between you and Dawn was stronger than anyone could imagine. Your own strength with the support of Mary, Peter, Kristen, and Steven I wish you great days with great memories.
To Mary, Peter Kristen, and Steven. Your loss is felt in my heart. Dawn is such a giving soul. She reached out to everyone with love respect and compassion. Dawn wanted everyone to be strong, confident, and secure.
Dawn showed this every day. Dawn took great care to ensure her rental properties were kept above standards. The people who rented from Dawn could come home to a safe home.
I will miss Dawn . When I miss her. It will be because I am remembering that beautiful smile. Comforting hand telling me that it will all be ok.
May you rest in peace.

Peter, Mary, Kirsten, Stephen and Gary,
Our sympathy and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. So many wonderful memories of Dawn . When we came
from the U.K. in February 1974experiencing snow, differences in culture and our daughter adapting to school. Dawn reached out immediately as a life line embracing us with love and warm hospitality and Mary walked with our daughter to school. Nothing was ever any trouble she was there for anything we needed. .An example was the Ground Hog Gale we had no heat and Brian had to work, Dawn invited us to stay with them as they had a wood stove providing heat and meals. We were treated as extended family as we were on trips to enjoy the camp or in anything we did together. Dawn gave of herself fully not looking for anything in return. She was humble with a servant heart and all who knew her was the better for it.
God bless you all

Kirsten, Mary, Stephen and Peter: With much feelings’ your Mom’s passing. I see others, their thoughts and realize how true their words are. Your Mom’s knowledge and ways influenced and changed my family by faith and with her kind ways. It could be just a cold cranberry juice and a biscuit or houses and vacuuming out ductwork. Growing up as a kid your grandmother and sisters were always a family stop for us.
Thank you cousin Dawn Marie for your life, faith and beautiful family. Jamie McCanse

Dawn will be greatly missed. She was a pleasure to be around. Even when she wasn't having a good day, we could turn on Seinfeld or Schitts Creek and all troubles melted away.
Rest in peace Dawn, I love you very much. I will always cherish the years we had together, especially the summers sitting on the deck and talking the day away. I can't wait till we meet again.
