Obituary of Clair Ellen Day
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Clair Ellen Day of Norton announce her passing, which occurred on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at her home after a brave battle with cancer. Born on February 28, 1964 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Clara (McLean) Day.
Clair will be lovingly remembered by her children, Brandy and Jordan Day; her best friend and granddaughter, Dream and her lifelong childhood friend, Terry Bonnar, whom she had her most memorable moments and experiences with. Clair is also survived by her sisters, brothers, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Brian and Joseph Day and her step-father, Herbert Perry.
Clair had one of the kindest and most beautiful souls and she touched countless lives. She taught her loved ones what the most important things in life were and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who needed it, including the many animals she cared for along the way. She asked that we all love one another and never lose sight of what’s truly important. Clair will always and forever be in our hearts. We feel at peace knowing that she is at rest and that the door to eternity has been opened for her. May her soul rest in peace.
We would like to thank all of you for the many visits and for the support and love that you have shown to Clair and our family during this most difficult time.
In keeping with Clair’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (506-634-7424).
For those who wish, remembrances made to your local SPCA would be appreciated by Clair’s family.
