Obituary of Ann Sullivan
It is with much sadness but with an appreciation for a life well lived that the family of Margaret “Ann” Sullivan of Saint John, cherished wife of William Sullivan, announce her passing which occurred on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Shannex Tucker Hall. Born on November 7, 1939 in Charlottetown, she was a daughter of the late Lorne and Beatrice (Tait) MacKay.
Prior to her retirement, Ann worked as an office administrator in the Physiotherapy Department at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Ann was a woman who always took great comfort in her Catholic faith. She loved her shopping trips south of the border and in her earlier years she enjoyed bowling.
In addition to her husband, William, she will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children, Leigh Langille, Beth Connolly and Sean Sullivan (Jean); brothers, Donald MacKay (Judy) and Michael MacKay (Judy); grandchildren, Myles Hartin, Amy Hartin, Katherine Khondker (Raihan), Elizabeth Sullivan (Kyu), Edmund Sullivan (Christin), Andrew Sullivan (Larissa) and Jake Langille; seven great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Lorne MacKay; sister, Shirley O’Leary and great-grandson, Sahil Khondker.
