Obituary of Liz Fleming

Elizabeth Alexandra Fleming of Saint John, NB, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by her family.                 

Liz was born November 20, 1947 and is survived by her partner of 24 years, Joseph Breault (Max) and her son, Brian; brother, Kenneth (Angela); sisters, Harriet and Ruth (Bob); as well as nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Eliza Machum; husband, Jack Garnett and their son, Marc; husband, Tom Fleming; brothers, William, Randy and Terry and sister, Christine Ann.                             

Liz enjoyed meeting her friends and especially listening to the music of Del and George.         

Our appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Keyes and the nurses at 5A South (Oncology) who were so kind and supportive.  

In keeping with Liz’s wishes, there will be no visiting or funeral service.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home (506-634-7424).     

Donations in memory of Liz may be made to the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue or the charity of the donor’s choice.
