Obituary of Jeannette Marie-Anne Pascon
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Jeannette Marie-Anne Pascon, on August 22, 2024, at Bobby’s Hospice following a lengthy illness.
Born in Bathurst, NB on July 15, 1940, she was the eldest daughter to the late Alfred and Thérèse (Chiasson) Godin. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers George (Helene), Laurent (Claudette) and Roger (Opale) and her sister, Alice Godin.
As a young lady mom ventured to Saint John with her soon to be husband, Lino, raised three children and was deeply devoted to the fabric of our family. Anyone who met her soon found that she was a sweet and special person. Thinking of others first and herself last she would always show kindness, love and support no matter the circumstance.
Mom enjoyed lengthy talks and a good chuckle with her grandchildren and was instrumental in building their character. Being with her great grandchildren brought her great joy and she loved watching them grow and explore. Their antics never failed to bring a smile and a laugh.
She is survived by her beloved children: Aldo Pascon (Gail), Silvio Pascon (Janet Kempster) and Cristina; grandchildren: Anthony Pascon (Alyssa), Matthew Comeau, Luc Comeau (Jenn), Jillian Pascon, Mackenzie Comeau and Taylor Comeau; great-grandchildren: Thomas and James Pascon, and Jasper Comeau; brother Jean-Claude Godin and sister Patricia (Donald St-Pierre).
The family wishes to thank the staff at Bobby’s Hospice for all their wonderful care, support and kindness.
