Obituary of Eric Paul Guthrie

It is with great sadness that the family of Eric Paul Guthrie announces his passing which occurred from his residence on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Born in Grand Manan, NB, on June 22, 1948, he was a son of the late James and Mary (Levesque) Guthrie.

Eric leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Nina (Ewart) Guthrie; daughter, Audrey Guthrie; their fur babies, Laddie and Oreo. In addition to his parents, Eric was predeceased by his brother, Mark Guthrie.

The family would like to extend a special Thank you to Dr. Christian Mackin, Palliative Care nurses, Dr. Adam Hoirch, Dr. Farah Naz, Extra Mural Nurses and Respiratory Nurse, Jolene Parks.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). In keeping with Eric’s wishes there will be no services. Donations in memory of Eric may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
