Obituary of Carl Andrew Breen
It is with great sadness that the family of Carl “Chuck” Andrew Breen announce his passing after a long battle with cancer. His death occurred on October 13, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Chuck was born on June 4, 1964, in Saint John, NB, to the late Thomas and Christine (O’Hara) Breen.
Chuck will be immensely missed by his long-term girlfriend Lori Bursey; son Colby Christopher Freeman; daughter Chloe Christine Elaine Shepard; siblings Lori (Hugh) Blauveldt, Dan (Cindy) Breen, Peter (Brenda) Breen, Pat (Mark) Thibodeau, Andra (Shane) O’Brien, Sue (Warren) Gerow, Art (Karen) Breen, George (Erica) Breen, and Vera (Doug) Dow; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family members, as well as his furry companion Gus.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Our Lady of Perpetual Help (31 Gondola Point Rd, Rothesay) on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM with a reception in the church hall, and interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery to follow.
