Obituary of William John "Billy" Mahoney

The death of William John “Billy” Mahoney occurred on October 16, 2024 at Mill Cove Nursing Home.  Born on November 12, 1956 in Saint John, he was the son of the late William and Hattie (Leonard) Mahoney.

Billy is survived by his cousins, Ruth McQuinn (the late David), Alice (David) Hatfield, Paul (Arlene) McQuinn, John (Verna) McQuinn, Ella Morand, Lois (Harry) Morrell, Walter (Cheryl) McQuinn and Dale (Bob) Burnett and their families, as well as dear friend, Annette Hebert.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his uncle, Emery Leonard; great-uncles, Fred, Hubert, Lloyd, Roy and Eldon and great-aunt, Stella (in infancy).

Although there will be no visiting or funeral service, relatives and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service which will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, October 22, 204 at 2:30 PM.  Arrangments are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424).
