So saddened by Oscar's passing. This world's loss but Heavens GAIN! I always remembered him at our church picnics running the canteen. He loved and served God and because of this he will live forever♡

Keith and family, Stuart and family. Elizabeth and family and Karen and family.
We send our love and prayers to you at this very difficult time. The passing of both your parents so close together is very hard. We pray the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding be yours at this time.
Your dad and mother were so loved and respected. Such a giving couple. Always there to help when needed.
We as a family were very blessed to have known them for so many years.
Looking forward to the day when all those serving Christ will be united again in heaven.
Love and prayers

I met Oscar, whom I knew as Junior, in 1951. His sister Rosie was my mother's best friend and Junior was like a father / older brother to my little brother, Keith, who was seven years old when they met. They were close friends until he was killed in a hunting accident at 16. Junior took us trout fishing in the summer and ice fishing in the winter, on road trips to Kent County and to church and Sunday school. We spent many Christmas Days together with him and his family. He and Keith were inseparable and worked together building boats, renovating houses and on various construction projects and Keith accompanied him on several trips to visit Hilda's relatives in New England. They were as close as brothers and Keith's death was a life altering event for Junior. He gave us our first rifles which I still have and still shoot. He was a big part of our childhood and a good friend. I was always grateful for what he did for our family.
